"When I began talking to Valerie about my apartment search, it was almost the first week of August and I was having no luck. Within hours of talking to Valerie, she found me listings that were ideal for my price range, commute, and needs. When I first contacted her, she was very friendly and gave me her availability right after the call. Because it was rather urgent for me to find an apartment, she scheduled viewings with me the next day. I didn't know Boston quite well and she gave me many insights about neighborhoods and places to go to. During our first viewing, the first thing she did was to disclose that by Mass law she is required to show me the broker fee agreement that I have to sign. Little things like these make her reliable and and easy to work with. I had a very busy work schedule at the time. I swear, they would show me every place in Boston OTHER than the one I was inquiring about! Total bait and switch...trying to get you in the door and get you to either buy high or settle for something totally worse. Then I heard about A&S from a friend of a friend and decided to give them a shot. I originally worked with Val (she is awesome) and immediately knew that this was the company I was going to work with. "I could not be more pleased with A&S Realty! I found A&S here on Yelp back in March, after wasting so much time trying to find an apartment on my own. It was clear to me, based on the stellar reviews that A&S was the smartest choice, compared to many other apartment finders in the area. I sent an email through their website, and was quickly put in touch with Valerie the next day. Valerie and I scheduled a phone call to discuss all of my needs. I was coming from out of state for only a couple of days, so I had to find an apartment fast! Valerie sent me many options the weekend before my trip so I could look over everything.
When I got to Boston, we met for an afternoon to view as many apartments as possible in the short amount of time we had. Valerie was so organized! She printed out a "cheat sheet" so I could take notes on each apartment. When I found the one, she professionally organized all of the paperwork and materials so I could put a deposit down! The process was streamline and easy! Not only did Valerie go above and beyond during the apartment search, she answered every question I had, even my silly snow questions (I'm from TX)! :D After I left Boston, she continued to keep in touch through the lease signing process.
